An integrated view of buildings and human health

Why Healthy Home Expert exists

Healthy Home Expert was created to address a persistent gap in design and construction: buildings are commonly assessed for appearance, sustainability and technical performance, while their relationship with occupant health is treated separately or considered too late.

Annie’s work connects material health, moisture, ventilation, lighting, acoustics, electromagnetic environments, building physics and human experience. The aim is not to create fear or promise perfect health. It is to support better-informed professional judgement.

From complex evidence to practical decisions

Annie translates research, standards and interdisciplinary healthy-building knowledge into education that professionals can apply to briefs, specifications, procurement discussions and design decisions.

Her approach is calm, evidence-aware and transparent about uncertainty. It respects the distinct responsibilities of architects, designers, builders, engineers, consultants and product manufacturers.

Building toward the future

Today, Healthy Home Expert is an education and thought-leadership platform. Its courses, articles and developing frameworks are also creating the authority foundation for a future international consultancy focused on healthier residential, hospitality and wellness-led places.

Advisory services are not currently offered.
